*** In 2010, HCCEF was awarded a $2,100 grant from the Veridian Credit Union to promote financial literacy in Hardin County.  The Hardin County Financial Literacy Collaborative is taking the leadership to carry out the programs supported with this grant.

*** In 2010, HCCEF was awarded an $18,000 3-year grant from the Hardin County Farm Bureau to support the Entrepreneur-for-a-Day program and Ag in the Classroom for all 5th grade students in Hardin County.

*** In 2009, HCCEF was awarded a $50,000 three-year Iowa Microenterprise Assistance Project (IMAP) demonstration grant to support economic growth, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.  The grant was made possible by the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines and the Northwest Area Foundation.  HCCEF is one of 8 affiliate foundations in the state to receive an IMAP grant.
