What is the financial range of grants awarded through HCCEF Grantmaking Program?
- The total grant amount for 2007 is $5,000.
- Grant awards vary for each non-profit organization and are dependent on the needs of the organization.
- During 2006, grants awarded ranged from $140 to $4,000 per non-profit organization.
How should I obtain, submit, assemble and deliver my application?
- You may obtain an application after July 30, 2007 by contacting us
- Applications must be mailed (postmarked by February 2, 2008)
- Submit one complete application with 15 copies
- Do not use folders or bindings to enhance presentation of your proposal – just use standard paper, placing copies of the requested components in an envelope.
- Applications sent via e-mail or fax will not be accepted.
- Late applications will not be accepted.

What is the application review process?
- HCCEF board volunteers will document all grant applications and eliminate any applications that are late.
- The staff conducts site visits or telephone interviews, when appropriate.
- The HCCEF Board reviews the applications/proposals and makes the final decision on grant awards.
What are the reporting requirements?
Grant recipients must:
- sign and return a letter of acknowledgement confirming acceptance of the grant
- schedule with HCCEF a site visit to demonstrate how funds were used (must be conducted by December 31st)
- complete and return an evaluation form by December 31st
Am I eligible to apply if I have received a past grant from the Hardin County Community Endowment Foundation?
HCCEF will fund only one (1) proposal per organization per grant program during a fiscal year.
