The HCCEF Community Grants Fund is comprised of gifts from donors and funds from Iowa’s gaming revenues. By law 75% of the gaming revenues received is granted annually; 25% is invested in HCCEF’s unrestricted permanent endowment. 

In addition, 5% of HCCEF endowment earnings is invested annually  back into Hardin County nonprofit organizations through the Community Grants Program.
