Through the endowment fund, you will help build a permanent source of charitable assets to meet emerging, as well as existing, needs of the communities and organizations in Mitchell County.

FEMC Passthrough Fund

Halvorson Family Community Endowment Fund

Donal R. Halvorson, and Tim and Sally Halvorson and their daughters Megan and Erin, established the Halvorson Family Community Endowment in December 2007.  They wished to establish a vehicle to give back to a community they love and to help others become more aware of the possibilities of philanthropy. 

St. Ansgar Angel Fund

The Halvorsons also created the St. Ansgar Angel Fund as a way for their family and other community members to help fund local nonprofit organizations and worthwhile projects.  This fund allows anyone to contribute at any level. 

Saints Legacy Fund

A new “Committee Directed Fund” where donor’s tax deductible donations to the SAINTS Legacy Fund will be directed to the St. Ansgar Community School District for the sole purpose of assisting in their current and future needs.  A committee of five (5) selected each year from the fund donors will review contribution and distribution requests from the St. Ansgar Community School.
